We are Vicksburg Parents Dedicated to our Children's Future

Elect Rick Burmeister and Lisa Hostetler to Vicksburg Community Schools Board of Education

DEFENDING PARENTAL RIGHTS AND INCREASED TRANSPARENCY

We believe that parents are the “first and final” educator when it comes to their children. Parents have a right and responsibility to direct the care, teaching, and education of their children and advocate for transparency. What is taught and promoted within Vicksburg Community Schools should be easily accessible to parents.

PRIORITIZING SAFE SPACES FOR MALE AND FEMALE STUDENTS

We believe in two sexes, male and female, and the need for separate spaces (bathrooms, locker rooms) and sports teams for male and female students.

FIGHTING FOR STUDENT OUTCOMES

We are committed to investing in education and focusing on improving student outcomes in reading, writing, and math. We support classical education models that value liberal arts and sciences, as well as the trades.

  • I am running for the Vicksburg School Board to bring strong, conservative values to our educational system. My family and I moved to Vicksburg from Portage in 2021 to be part of a smaller, close-knit community. I am committed to preserving the principles and high standards that make this district special.
